By shedding unnecessary layers of insulation that our competitors use for aesthetics, Tempest 2 speaker cables pack an incredible 7 AWG equivalent per channel into a sleek and flexible cable format. Two large gauge multistranded conductors are used per channel, each comprised of multistranded 7N silver-plated copper in an FEP teflon dielectric, and arranged in a twisted-pair geometry. Two carbon-fiber based resonance dampers per channel (one at either end) reduce mechanically induced distortions. Tempest 2 offers a rich, powerful and spacious sound with excellent detailing.
